Permit and Requirement

All General Aviation or business aircrafts operating to/from BANGLADESH require landing permits / PPR, regardless of the type of flight from the CAA.

The official permit lead time is given below:

Bangladesh Landing Permit Lead Time

7 working days (with the flight intended for the 8th day) are required to obtain landing permission for flights. However, we can also obtain short notice permission subject to approval from CAA.

Bangladesh Landing Permit Lead Time (Technical Landing/Fuel Stop)

3 working days (with the flight intended for the 4th day) are required to obtain landing permission for flights. However, we can also obtain short notice permission subject to approval from CAA.

Bangladesh Overflying Permit Lead Time

To obtain overflying permission, a lead time of 3 working day (with the flight intended for the 4th day) is required. However, we can also obtain short notice permission subject to approval from CAA.

Bangladesh Landing Permit Lead Time For Ambulance Flights

For medical, ambulance, or relief mission flights, the minimum notice period requirement may be waived. Such cases will be processed on the same day within a few hours, contingent upon the availability of required documents and the CAA official.

Bangladesh Landing Permit Lead Time For Military Aircraft

Permit applications for all military and VVIP flights must be channel through the respective country's embassy/consulate using diplomatic channels. Additionally, approval from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) is also required.

A/C Documents

  1. AOC/ Permit to fly (delivery flight)
  2. Registration Certificate
  3. Operations Specification
  4. TCAS/EGPWS
  5. Radio Station License
  6. Valid Airworthiness Certificate
  7. Noise Certificate
  8. A/C Insurance Certificate
  9. Sponsor Details/ Receiving part details (Only required for Bangladesh Landing permit, it is not required for technical landing permit)

Passenger Documents (If Any)

  1. Pax Passport Copy
  2. Pax Visa Copy

Crew's Documents

  1. Crew Passport Copy
  2. Crew Staff No/Company ID No.
  3. Number of crew
  4. Crew layover plan (if night halt or crew rest required)

Others Documents
